Ideal Ways to Store or Transport Dish & Glassware Racks

Ideal Ways to Store or Transport Dish & Glassware Racks
Dishes and glassware are a delicate subject – literally!  Dish racks are used to hold and protect dish and glassware as these fragile items run their course to and from the dish room. Unfortunately, finding a place to store the racks, along with having a means to easily transport them to their destination, can be an issue. If this all sounds familiar, and you are looking for a solution, keep reading. We will discuss three ideal ways to store and transport dish and glassware racks.   Cup & Glass Dolly Broken glassware and cups can quickly put a dent in an operator’s budget.  Transporting cups and glasses can, by any method, be a tricky business and is how glassware normally meets its end. By using a cup/glass dolly, the odds of your expensive new glasses arriving safely at their destination can be stacked in your favor. These small dollies can be placed at tray drop off tables, hidden discretely at a dumb waiter station, or any other area where glassware needs to be held and protected before transport to and from the dish room. These dollies are designed to securely hold single or multiple 20” x 20” racks. Lightweight aluminum dollies that are guaranteed to never rust or corrode are highly recommended and so are 5” plate casters welded to a lip up framework.  If your destination is aways away, don’t forget to add a handle to help push or pull the load! Rest assured, a cup/glass rack dolly with these features will help ensure your glassware investment is safe and secure.   Wall Mount Dish Rack Holder  Running out of real estate under your dish table, floor, or drying racks? Chances are that the culprits taking up all the space are empty dish racks. If this is the case in your dish room, look no further than investing in a wall mounted dish rack holder. Designed to hold empty 20” x 20” dishracks on their side, wall mounted dish rack holders can clean up clutter and free up space. Ideally made from aluminum that will never rust or corrode in wet conditions, dish rack holders will be a welcome addition to any dish room.

Cup & Glass Racks   If you have larger loads of cups and glasses to transport, or their destination is further away, mobile cup and glass racks can be a great addition to your operation. They are built to carry from 6 to 9 racks which allows you to keep your ware organized and safe from breakage. Built on 5” plate casters, these racks are easy to move and built to carry heavy loads. All welded aluminum racks that won’t corrode are recommended – you won’t be sorry!
