New Age Industrial announces Jeff Erber as Western Regional Sales Manager-Foodservice. Jeff has served the foodservice industry for 28 years, with 22 years of sales experience and an intricate product development and engineering background. He has earned 3 YUM Star Awards, 2 in one year for KFC and Taco Bell. He also holds 3 foodservice equipment patents. When asked about selecting him for this role, Cathy O’Shia, Vice President of Sales-Foodservice, said, “Jeff has extensive sales management experience. His background in product development will be a huge asset since more than 30% of our business is custom.”In his new position as Western Regional Sales Manager, Jeff will work directly with Foodservice Manufacturer’s Representatives to maintain existing business and create new opportunities while attending national trade shows and buying group meetings. According to Jeff, one of his primary goals at New Age Industrial is to help identify new products to drive growth for the future. He shared, “My favorite thing about the foodservice industry is the people and the connections we make. I want to help people new to this industry because I’ve been very fortunate to have people mentor me along the way.”
When asked what made him want to work for New Age Industrial, he said, “New Age sets the bar for aluminum products, and that’s what drew me to them first. Over the years, I’ve heard how great they are to work with from reps, dealers, and other companies within the industry. The other main reason I wanted to work here is the great people who are passionate about what they do. Having all three of these is a rare find in a company.”
Jeff currently resides in Edwardsville, IL. He has been married to his wife, Noelle, for 22 years with two children, a boy and a girl. His son, Wyatt, is in his first year of college, attending Missouri State. His daughter, Anna, is a high school senior looking to attend Illinois State in the fall. He said, “We are also dog people and have two Black Labs!” He enjoys playing golf and watching his kids play soccer in his free time.
