After four years, The NAFEM Show is finally back again, and the entire team at New Age Industrial is excited to see the reps, dealers, consultants, and end-users. For over 70 years, NAFEM (North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturing) has worked diligently within the commercial foodservice industry, dedicating its flagship event entirely to foodservice equipment and supplies.
The NAFEM Show is large trade show where manufacturers, vendors, and service companies showcase the latest, cutting-edge equipment and technologies specific to the foodservice industry. The NAFEM Show 2023 will be held at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL on February 1-3. At Booth #1600, New Age Industrial will feature heavy duty, aluminum products tailored to a variety of foodservice segments along with customizable solutions.
Our booth will be divided into five main sections with each one dedicated to a specific segment including Chains, K-12 Schools, Correctional, Walk-In Cooler Storage and a large, central tower containing a variety of racks and carts. Our focus, however, is Stress-Free Customization through our Flexible Manufacturing Process. Because we extrude and fabricate all our own aluminum in-house, we can control the entire process from beginning to end. This allows for simple modifications as well as complete customization.
In addition to these products, we also have a Brand-New Product Release at The NAFEM Show. In the Fall of 2022, we launched a Custom Product Design Contest challenging end-users to partner with manufacturer’s representatives to create a new product to solve an unmet need in the industry. The winning submission was chosen based off a sketch and description, and the winners was paired up with our engineering team to design and manufacture their product. This never-before-seen foodservice equipment will be displayed in our trade show booth (#1600).
In addition to the big reveal, we are holding a Live Awards Presentation on Thursday, February 2 at 11:00AM in our Booth (#1600) to recognize the winning team and their design. Our winners also received a $500 cash prize, airfare, hotel and badge for The NAFEM Show, and a ticket to the Closing Party/Concert. We would like to congratulate Claudia Harry with The Hansen Group and Alyssia Wright, Executive Director of Fulton County Schools on developing such a useful, interesting product!
