Optimized for the meat packing industry and cold storage facilities, New Age Industrial’s Heavy Duty Welded Aluminum Mobile Freezer Trucks are engineered to accelerate the freezing process. The open framework design allows cold air to circulate quickly and evenly around product, ensuring faster and more consistent freezing compared to solid-wall containers. Designed to accept standard 17” x 28” wire freezer baskets or boxes, these trucks provide excellent product visibility for easy identification and inventory management. Whether you are freezing fresh cuts or storing processed goods, these trucks allow you to roll product directly from the prep area into the freezer and then to storage without repackaging.
Features that Make a Difference:
- Optimized Airflow: The angle guides are spaced on 7 ¾” centers (standard models) to promote excellent cold air circulation between baskets, reducing freezing times.
- Heavy-Duty Support: Unlike racks that hold pans by the lip, these trucks feature extra-wide 1 ¼” x 3 ¼” x .100” angle guides that support heavy freezer baskets and boxes securely from the bottom, ensuring equal load distribution.
- Ergonomic Design: The uprights are constructed from D-shaped tubing, providing a comfortable grip that is easy on the user’s hands during transport.
- Freezer-Ready Construction: Made from primary grade aluminum, these trucks naturally resist rust and corrosion and are actually strengthened by cold temperatures, making them perfect for damp coolers and sub-zero freezers.
- Smooth Mobility: The reinforced base is outfitted with four 5” heavy-duty plate-type casters with polyurethane tread (two swivel for maneuvering, two rigid for straight-line tracking), providing a smooth ride and excellent control under heavy loads.
- Weight Capacity: Engineered to handle substantial loads, these trucks have a weight capacity of 800 lbs.

- Model 1272: 8-Basket Capacity (Height: 68 5/8”).
- Model 1273: 9-Basket Capacity (Height: 76 3/8”).
- Model 1274 (Double-Deep): Side-loading unit with a 12-Basket capacity and 9” runner spacing. (Note: This specific model is not NSF Certified).
