Optimize your walk-in coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas with New Age Industrial’s Standard Adjustable (Modular) Aluminum Shelving Units With Slatted T-Bar Shelves. These complete units provide the “best of both worlds” by combining a smooth, flat surface for easy loading with an open slat design that maximizes air circulation. Engineered to hold up to 900 lbs. per shelf, these units offer a robust, rust-proof solution for commercial foodservice and industrial environments.
Features & Benefits:
- Optimized T-Bar Design: The shelves feature 1 ¼” x 2 ¼” x .100” wall T-Bar laterals spaced to allow consistent airflow around stored items—critical for maintaining temperatures in cold storage. Despite the spacing, the wide “T” surface creates a flat deck that allows boxes to slide on and off effortlessly, preventing the snagging common with wire shelving.
- High-Capacity Storage: Built for heavy loads, each shelf boasts a weight capacity of 900 lbs., while the heavy-duty posts are rated for 1,500 lbs. per post (in compression). This strength is achieved through a framework constructed of 1 ¼” x 1 ½” x .070” wall tubing.
- Fully Adjustable: The “Adjust-A-Shelf” design allows you to position shelves at precise heights to fit your inventory. Posts are marked in 2-inch increments, and the entire unit assembles in minutes using only the provided Allen wrench.
- Sanitary & Rust-Free: Constructed entirely from primary grade aluminum, these units are guaranteed to remain rust-free, making them the superior choice for high-humidity environments like coolers and dish rooms.

- 5-Tier Units (Suffix TT8): 84 ¼” Height. Total Unit Capacity approx. 4,500 lbs.
