Maximize your storage flexibility with New Age Industrial’s Heavy Duty Adjustable (Modular) Aluminum Shelving Units With Slatted T-Bar Bottom/Base Shelf & Solid Brute Middle & Top Shelves With Removable Tops. Designed for operations that require both bulk capability and secure containment, these heavy-duty complete units combine the high-capacity airflow of T-Bar shelves on the bottom level with the smooth, flat surface of Solid Brute shelves on the upper levels. This hybrid design allows you to store heavy cases near the floor for easy access while organizing smaller, looser items on the solid upper tiers, all within a single footprint.

- Hybrid Shelf Configuration:
- Lower T-Bar Shelf: The base level features a Heavy Duty T-Bar shelf with a 1,500 lb. weight capacity. The tube laterals are spaced to allow maximum airflow—ideal for maintaining temperatures in coolers—and provide a smooth surface for sliding heavy boxes on and off without lifting.
- Upper Solid Brute Shelves: The upper levels utilize Solid Brute shelves with an 800 lb. weight capacity. These shelves feature a flat aluminum surface reinforced with under-bracing, perfect for storing smaller items or bottles that might tip on slatted shelves. The solid top is removable for easy, thorough cleaning.
- Adjust-A-Shelf System: These complete units are fully adjustable to fit your specific inventory heights. The heavy-duty posts (15/16” diameter pipe) are marked in 2-inch increments, and the entire unit assembles in minutes using only the provided Allen wrench.
- Rust-Free Durability: Constructed entirely from primary grade aluminum, these units are guaranteed to remain rust-free, making them superior choices for the humid, wet environments of walk-in coolers and freezers.

- Foodservice & Cold Storage: Perfect for walk-ins where lower shelves hold heavy produce or meat cases (T-Bar) and upper shelves organize open ingredient bins or small wares (Solid Brute).
- Warehousing: Efficiently organizes mixed inventory in a single bay, keeping heavy bulk items stable at the bottom and loose parts contained at the top.
- Janitorial: Ideal for storing heavy buckets or equipment below and cleaning supplies or bottles above.
Available Configurations:
These heavy-duty units are available in 18” and 24” widths and lengths ranging from 36” to 72”. The units vary by height and shelf count:
- 3-Tier Units (Suffix TB6): 68 ¼” Height. Includes (1) T-Bar and (2) Solid Brute shelves.
- 4-Tier Units (Suffix TB7): 76 ¼” Height. Includes (1) T-Bar and (3) Solid Brute shelves.
- 5-Tier Units (Suffix TB8): 84 ¼” Height. Includes (1) T-Bar and (4) Solid Brute shelves.
Note: While the individual shelf components are often NSF listed, these specific mixed configurations are listed as “No” for NSF Certification in standard specifications.
