New Age Industrial Announces Summer Marketing Intern 2023
Norton, KS May 18, 2023– New Age Industrial welcomes a new Summer Intern to its Marketing Team, Zach Rowh.
Zach Rowh, Marketing Intern
The New Age Industrial team is excited to welcome Zach Rowh in his new position as Summer Marketing Intern. He is assisting our Marketing Manager, Megan Keiswetter with ecommerce data projects and creating content for digital and social media. He is a Senior at Fort Hays State University, majoring in Marketing. Zach is originally from Norton, KS and has worked at New Age during school and summer breaks for 4 years. He has worked in various departments including welding, shipping, fabrication, and saw.
His interest in pursuing a degree in marketing began when he took a gen ed class called “Marketing Principles” that introduced him to marketing. The more he learned about it, the more he fell in love with it. He is most interested in building a career in content marketing because he enjoys creating graphics and written content for print, digital, and social media.
We asked Zach what he hopes to gain out of this internship. He said, “I’ve had experience working here for 4 years, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to gain some experience in marketing. I’m graduating with my Marketing Degree in December, so having hands-on experience will help me out a lot when I’m seeking employment using my degree.”
When asked about working at New Age so far, he said, “I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far. I’ve been in the process of learning how New Age does business, and it’s been valuable information so far. I’ve already learned a lot about Business to Business (B2B) Sales instead of just Business to Consumer (B2C) Sales and how New Age sells their products. I really enjoy the people I work with. This is a good-sized company that runs their business really well, which is also part of the reason I wanted to do an internship here.” We are thrilled to have Zach on our team this Summer, and we can’t wait to help him further his knowledge and expertise in his field of study.
