The Share Cart is more than just a basic merchandising cart – it’s a colorful and versatile solution that promotes a culture of giving in a variety of settings.
K12 Schools: The Share Cart is a simple yet impactful solution to reduce food waste and address food insecurity in schools. Students can donate unopened and unwanted individually packaged food items, like snacks, drinks, and fruits, creating a readily available resource for classmates that are still hungry or in need. This fosters a spirit of sharing and combats the issue of food insecurity within the school community. Students can share excess food, reducing cafeteria waste, while classmates in need have access to a helpful resource – it’s a Win-Win!
Originally designed for K12 school share programs, the Share Cart is now used by:
Colleges & Universities: Offer dorm residents snacks, drinks, or hygiene products.
Hospitals & Care Centers: Provide patients and residents with easy access to essential items. Offer snacks and beverages to friends and family in waiting areas.
Assisted Living Facilities: Enhance resident comfort with a convenient source of drinks, snacks, or blankets.
Hospitality Rooms: Welcome guests with thoughtful amenities like bottled water or snacks. Treat referees, judges, and coaches to snacks and drinks during breaks!
Features that Make a Difference:
- Keeps Cold Items Cold: The top shelf holds HACCP compliant drop-in, cold food pans (included) that will hold contents at or below the food safe temperature of 40°F for up to 6-8 hours, eliminating the need for ice.
- Easy Maneuvering: A push handle allows for effortless movement through hallways. Equipped with four 5” plate type casters, two swivel, two swivel with brake.
- Enhanced Visibility: A slanted second shelf makes grabbing items easy and convenient.
- Durable Construction: All-welded aluminum with a powder-coated finish ensures long-lasting use and easy cleaning.
- Storage and Customization: A reinforced base shelf offers additional, miscellaneous storage space. Two signage locations (upper and lower) on both sides of the cart, allow you to personalize the cart with a logo, mascot, or sponsor information.
Additional Options (not included):
- Cold Pan Shelf: A hinged shelf for holding a HACCP compliant 1/3-size cold pan (great for additional cold items).
- Computer/Tablet Shelf: A hinged shelf (sold separately) for displaying information or using a device.
- Unit Without Top / Signage Header: Cart will not include the top signage attachment.
Simple to Order:
Just select your desired color by adding the corresponding suffix (e.g., “RED”) to the model number. Choose Your Perfect Color:
