Aluminum billets staged for extrusion, a press operator running a hardened-steel extrusion die, and finished dies racked at our Norton, Kansas facility
From Billet to Box

One Factory. Every Step, In-House.

New Age Industrial controls the entire manufacturing process from start to finish — every product is designed, extruded, cut, fabricated, welded, washed, and shipped from our single facility in Norton, Kansas. That single-source operation is how we build the AMR-ready carts, AS/RS pallets, and adaptive shelving on display at Booth #632.

1

Product Engineering & Design

In-house engineers use SolidWorks CAD to turn concepts into precision-engineered aluminum solutions optimized for strength, safety, and efficiency.

2

Aluminum Extrusion

A gas-fired furnace pre-heats a 60-lb billet to ~800°F, then presses it through hardened steel dies — exit temperatures can reach 1,100°F to ensure structural integrity.

3

Straightening & Hardening

Extrusions are pulled straight to eliminate twisting, then enter a specialized aging oven to reach their maximum structural temper.

4

Precision Sawing & Fabrication

Computer-controlled auto-cut saws and CNC equipment handle high-volume cutting, drilling, and punching to incredibly tight tolerances.

5

Sheet & Coil Processing

Master coils are unrolled, flattened, straightened, and cut to length; high-speed turret punches deliver precise hole patterns and forming.

6

Manual & Robotic Welding

Over 50 MIG and TIG welding stations combine skilled manual operators with automated robotics for strong, clean, consistent welds.

7

Washing, Assembly & Shipping

An automated multi-stage wash with an RO pure-water rinse precedes final assembly, packaging, and on-time shipping.
